ECC and Fashion Cloud Enter Into Strategic Partnership for Smart Replenishment
ECC European Clearingcenter GmbH and Fashion Cloud are joining forces to establish Smart Replenishment as the new industry standard for the footwear and sporting goods sector. As part of this strategic partnership, all retailers connected to ECC will receive seamless and free access to Fashion Cloud’s Smart Replenishment solution.
The partnership aims to put collaboration and replenishment processes between retailers and brands on a new, data-driven foundation. Retailers benefit from intelligent management of their Never-Out-of-Stock (NOS) assortments, while brands can provide more targeted support to their retail partners and jointly unlock additional potential.
Smart Replenishment connects retailers’ sales data with brands’ available inventory and supports both sides with AI-powered forecasts. Based on actual sales performance, optimal target stock levels are calculated with the aim of maximizing product availability while reducing capital tied up in excess inventory.
In addition, retailers receive automated recommendations for seasonal products that are still available from their respective suppliers and show strong sales potential based on their sales data. This enables successful products to be reordered at the right time and helps retailers capitalize on additional sales opportunities.
Smart Replenishment also creates significant value for brands. Transparent reporting provides valuable insights into retail partners’ performance and creates a solid foundation for collaborative assortment management and future order discussions.
The first companies are already taking part in the joint initiative, including leading brands Tamaris and Gabor.
