Fashion Cloud hosts Digital Fashion Week – Winter Edition
Fashion Cloud will be hosting the Digital Fashion Week – Winter Edition. After the first edition in July 2020, Europe’s leading B2B platform for content and order will once again create a place where the industry is able to meet digitally and buyers find inspirations for the upcoming buying season.
Launched as a Corona initiative, the concept has already proven its worth in July 2020: Over 5,000 retailers followed the collection presentations of more than 100 brands on the digital event platform. An exciting main stage program with panel discussions and trend lectures completed the picture. Given the upcoming buying season and the restrictions, still in force due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fashion Cloud received strong support from customers and numerous industry representatives for a rerun of the event.
“We gained a lot of experience during the last Digital Fashion Week and received valuable feedback from our visitors. We took what we have learned into account and adjusted our event setup to meet the needs of all visitors,” says René Schnellen, Co-Founder of Fashion Cloud.
The basic idea remains the same: Brands present their collections in short, appealing videos and retailers gain an overview of the collections for the coming buying season. Additionally, the new concept will focus on the exchange between visitors. “The upcoming event will also include some novelties, one being our ‘Executive Dinners’. We are planning evening events in various major cities at which selected retailers and brands will have a chance to meet in person”, René Schnellen continues.
